We are happy to offer 'seated exercise to music' for residents in care homes and day centres.

Here the Resident will perform basic aerobic exercises to music while sitting in a chair, for around 30 minutes once a week. Perfect for the elderly or the less able as it requires less stamina.

Belly Dance and Bollywood Fitness Chair Aerobics is also an excellent way for many people to remain active despite their limitations. Chair exercises are far less strenuous on joints, such as the knees and the hips, than traditional standing aerobics. It is a great way to keep fit.

Entertainment, talks and workshops in the community

Talks: Samirah is regularly asked to give a talk and demonstration at local social groups, please contact her if you would like her to attend your group.

Entertainment: The belly Belles also provide entertainment in care homes and day centres, with our wonderful Egyptian and Bollywood Dance Fitness displays.

Often the support workers and carers get up and dance with us, as well as the able bodied residents. Those residents in wheelchairs or the less able, are encouraged to join in seated.

We have found that the residents thoroughly enjoy their time with us, often commenting on the gorgeous colours in the costumes and accessories, as well as how beautiful the Arabian music is.
