Hafla Nights
Each year we hold a Hafla (Arabic for party), this is a chance for our students to showcase their dancing to their friends and family.

This summer we held another fantastic Hafla in Bishop's Stortford, with around 40 people attending including Richard Townsend the Mayor of Bishop's Stortford! and we managed to raise £305 for Crohns and Colitis UK!
During the evening we had solo and Duet dance performances from some of the Belly Belles students and also from Samirah our dance instructor.
As well as Belly Dance and Bollywood Dance performances, we had a showcase from The Seated Sweethearts of Bishop's Stortford and Hatfield Heath, who entertained us with their routine to Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 and a seated Morris Dance.

In July 2024 we had another wonderful night, showcasing our beautiful art to friends and family in Bishop's Stortford. Our guest dancers were the Bollywood Sweethearts, a seated exercise class in Uttlesford and East Herts.
On the night we had a raffle and managed to raise £265 for Crohn's and Colitis UK, so all in all a most amazing night.

We often invite a guest dancer to our Haflah's and in 2022 we were very lucky to have the wonderful Jessica Boughtwood perform for us.
