As well as Belly Dance classes Samirah runs an Easy seated exercise class for the over 65s (or anyone who wants a gentle form of exercise) in Hatfield Heath and for the U3A in Bishop's Stortford.
Keeping fit and social interaction are key to general well being and mental health. Some folks have found that getting out and about after the pandemic and lock down a bit difficult, they hold an anxiety or stress, making it hard to get out the door and meet new people.
With this in mind we have created easy seated exercise to music, to encourage those feeling lonely or isolated to venture out and have somewhere safe to go and have fun, meet new friends and keep fit at the same time.
Held in the Hatfield Village Hall, Fridays 11am - 12pm
Thorley U3A Members, In Havers Community Centre, Bishop's Stortford, Thursdays at 10.30am
Cost £5
Refreshments are served after the session at Hatfield Heath.
We are joining the Belly Belles to hold a Haflah (Party) and Shin Dig on Saturday 19th July 2025 in Hatfield Heath Village Hall, Please see the poster opposite for more information.
